Now that Mattoo and Jessica Lal’s cases are being revived and the Killers, who were hiding behind bigwigs and powerful politicians are being brought to justice, what about Manjunath? Young Manjunath, from Karnataka, who studied in SJCE in Mysore, while being an employee of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) raised his voice against corruption prevalent in some of the dealership network of the Company and had to pay with his life for being a ‘whistle blower’. Manjunath had fearlessly taken on a dealer for malpractices and when their efforts to ‘silence’ him failed, they silenced him forever. The killers are still at large, with IOC, doing very little to trace them.
