I am Mrs. B.S. Chandrasekhar from Jayanagar, Bangalore. Chandra (googly cricket bowler) and myself are from Mysore. Chandra is from Lakshmipuram and I am from V.V. Mohall (Vontikoppal). I always tell the people we meet that Mysore is the best city to live in the world. It is a royal city, roads are broad, less people, fresh air with Maharaja's palace illumination, relaxing KRS water fountains, and more than anything, Goddess Chamundayswari is protecting and blessing the city of Maharaja and the people. Chamundi is blessing our family too. Chandra and myself quite often visit the greenGarden city.
B S Chandrashekar is grandson of Bhagavata Subbarayaru, who was known for his initiative in building Subbarayanakere ( the tank that has now disappeared). He undertook the tank contruction while in the service of the Mysore Palace, says K N Krishna Prasad of Gokulam Colony in a tetter to the 'Star of Mysore' (June 2, 2005)
